michinauta1. The service
Michinauta is cloud software (SaaS) for travel agencies in Ecuador. It manages customers, products, quotes, trip files, accounting, and electronic invoicing with the SRI, and it offers online shops where the agency sells hotels, experiences, and flights to its customers. Each registered agency has an isolated space (multi-tenant) with its own users, data, and tax setup.
2. Registration and account
To use the service you must give accurate information (RUC, legal name, email). You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Tax responsibility
You alone are responsible for the accuracy of the tax data you issue (RUC, establishment, emission point, .p12 electronic signature, amounts, VAT). Michinauta helps you issue and send receipts. It does not replace your agency's accounting or tax advice.
4. Plan and prices
The Free plan allows up to 25 receipts a month and 1 user, at no cost and with no expiry. The Basic plan costs $24/month (unlimited receipts and 4 users) and the Pro plan $49/month (unlimited receipts and users). Prices in USD, excluding VAT. They can change with 30 days' notice. Sign-ups before 26 September 2026 keep the list price in force that day.
Founder price: agencies that subscribe during the early launch keep the price in force at subscription for as long as the subscription stays active without a break. If the subscription is cancelled, that benefit ends and the prices in force at a new subscription apply.
5. Bookings and payments (travel shops)
Michinauta gives the agency online shops to sell flights, hotels, and experiences. About this module:
- How money is collected: customer payments go through the agency's own payment method. Michinauta does not hold, keep, or manage the money from bookings or tickets.
- Outside providers: availability, fares, issuance, and conditions for hotels, experiences, and flights depend on outside providers (aggregators and consolidators) and on each provider's terms. Michinauta is a technology intermediary, not the travel provider.
- Booking cancellations and refunds follow the relevant provider's policies, not Michinauta's.
- Flights: in this version the flights module runs in demonstration mode; fares and issuances are not real and are not valid for travel until commercial launch.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the service for illegal or fraudulent activity.
- Try to access another agency's data or break the security of the system.
- Issue receipts with false data or with a third party's data without authorization.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service available 24/7. Interruptions can happen for planned maintenance or for causes outside our control (SRI, infrastructure providers). We take daily database backups, with an encrypted copy off the server.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. When the paid period ends, the account moves to the Free plan in section 4: it stays active, you keep your data, and you can sign in to look it up or export it. Cancelling does not suspend the account and does not delete anything automatically. You can ask us to delete your data whenever you want by writing to [email protected], with the exceptions for keeping tax receipts and backups that the privacy policy describes.
9. Limitation of liability
Michinauta is provided "as is". We are not liable for fines, penalties, or SRI rejections that come from incorrect data the user provided, nor for indirect losses or lost profit.
